Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) 8-Week Training Course Overview The 8-week Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program offers a gentle, supportive space to explore mindfulness and bring more ease, clarity, and balance into your life. Through guided practices, reflection, and friendly group dialogue, you will learn to relate to your thoughts, emotions, and bodily sensations with warmth and acceptance. This in-person course includes eight weekly sessions of 2.5 hours each, plus a 5-hour full-day retreat. You are invited to practice at home for 45–60 minutes each day, with simple meditations, gentle movement, and reflective exercises that help you bring mindfulness into everyday life. This course is open to anyone interested in mindfulness, especially those who feel overwhelmed, struggle to slow down in daily life, experience high levels of stress, or are recovering from burnout. No prior experience is required; we will start slowly, building the foundations and supporting you in developing a sustainable mindfulness routine. About the Trainer Katka Hommel With a background in psychology and integrative therapy, I guide people toward greater balance, resilience, and kindness toward themselves. Mindfulness has helped me navigate life’s demands while staying present, grounded, and gentle with myself. I am honored to share these practices in this MBSR course and to support participants in finding more ease, calm, and clarity in their everyday lives.
